| 19/11/2008 - FLINT TAKES THE HELM |
Following the 1-4 reverse at Binfield on Tuesday evening, Flackwell Heath manager Terry Glynn tendered his resignation from the post.
Former club captain Matt Flint has been put in charge of team affairs for the remainder of the season and will be assisted by current first team coach Tristan Lewis.
Flint made over 200 appearances for The Heathens between 1995 and 2003 and then joined Marlow United as player/assistant manager, helping them to move up from the Reading League to the Hellenic League Premier Division.
He has been assisting youth team manager Andy Hockley in a coaching capacity this season but will assume charge of the first team for Saturday's home game against Bicester Town.
Tristan Lewis is a former Flackwell Heath youth team player and currently works for Reading FC as a full-time coach in their Youth Academy. |

| 24/10/2008 - BINFIELD AGAIN FOR HEATHENS |
Flackwell Heath have been drawn away to Binfield in the HPL Floodlit Cup 1st Round.
The Heathens had a tough encounter there last season when they beat their Division One (East) opponents 2-1 in the SBJ Insurance Brokers Challenge Cup.
We will be expecting another tight affair.
The tie will be played at Stubbs Lane on Tuesday November 18th. kick off 7.30pm. |

| 27/07/2008 - HEATHENS DRAW MILTON IN B&B |
Flackwell Heath have received a home draw in the first round of The Berks and Bucks Senior Trophy.
Milton United are the opponents and the winners of that tie face a long trip - to either Abingdon Town or Marlow United !!
The Milton game will take place on Tuesday 4th November with kick offf at 7.30pm. |

| 18/07/2008 - HEATHENS SET FOR HILLINGDON |
Flackwell Heath welcome Ryman League side Hillingdon Borough to Wilks Park tomorrow for their second pre-season friendly.
The Heathens will be without several of their squad due to holidays and injuries.
Midfielder Scott Chapman turned his ankle during training on Thursday evening and looks set to be out for a fortnight whilst full-back Paul Reed is still recovering from an ankle injury picked up in last weeks friendly against Wycombe Wanderers.
Stuart Maclellan is on the road to recovery after suffering a broken leg in May and should be ready for the start of the season.
With Nathan Jack, Adam Sharp and Carl Dennison away on holiday and Leigh Mason, Jonny Mason and James Suarez at a wedding, there will be several debutants in the Flackwell starting eleven.
Matt Glynn looks set to make his return along with Justin Hockley, Sam Druce, Liam Nash, Alan Akerman and Adrian Jack.
Tristan Lewis, Adam Morris, Simon Rogers and Vinny Cuva are among the new faces and Paul Catlin could be about to start his third stint as a Flackwell player. |

| 05/07/2008 - HEATHENS ALL SET FOR WYCOMBE GAME |
Flackwell Heath manager Terry Glynn has been busy adding to his squad ahead of Friday evenings prestige friendly against Wycombe Wanderers at Wilks Park.
The entire squad from last season has returned for pre-season training and manager Terry Glynn has captured the signatures of Leigh Mason (Staines Town) Tristan Lewis and Joel Havermans (Bracknell Town) and Adam Morris (Burnham) to further strengthen his squad.
The club are also holding a reunion of ex-players on that evening to celebrate its Centenary season and it is expected that a number of players who have played for both clubs, including Simon Garner, Tony Horseman and Ian Rundle will be in attendance.
The club are also pleased to confirm that the Maidenhead accountancy firm THAKRAR COOMBS will be extending their current agreement to remain Flackwell Heath's main sponsor.

| 03/07/2008 - VIERA SET TO FACE HEATHENS |
Coca-Cola League Two side Wycombe Wanderers have signed Brazilian striker Magno Silva Vieira on a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old has played for Wigan, Carlisle, Northampton and Barnet, before spending last season with Blue Square Premier side Crawley Town and on-loan at Cambridge United.
New Chairboys` boss Peter Taylor, who saw Viera (pictured) at close quarters last season when managing Stevenage Borough, said : "He comes to us as a winger and a striker. He's an all-out attacking player.
"Even though he's played at a different level, he's used to scoring and he's hungry. I believe he will do well."

| 01/07/2008 - WOOTTON BASSETT AT HOME IN FA CUP |
Flackwell Heath have been drawn at home against Hellenic League Division One West outfit Wootton Bassett in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round. The winners of this tie which takes place on Saturday 16th August (KO 3pm) will then face a home tie against Winchester City of the Southern League (Division One South & West) on Saturday 30th August
The Heathens face a trip to Abingdon Town in the FA Vase 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday September 20th. |

Flackwell Heath have been drawn at home in both the HPL Floodlit Cup and the SBJ Insurance (League) Cup.
Oxford City Nomads provide the opposition in the Floodlit Cup while Headington Amateurs stand between The Heathens and a plum home draw against Almondsbury Town inn the League Cup.

Flackwell Heath FC will be holding a reunion for all ex-players, managers and committee members on the evening of Friday 11th July to coincide with the prestige friendly match against Wycombe Wanderers.

| 15/05/2008 - WANDERERS COMING TO WILKS PARK |
Flackwell Heath kick off their pre-season fixtures on Friday July 11th with a prestige friendly against Wycombe Wanderers (7.30pm).
Wycombe have promised to bring their full first team squad to Wilks Park to bring the curtain down on our centenary celebrations.
This game is followed by a home friendlies against Hillingdon Borough on Saturday 19th July and Bracknell Town on Saturday 26th July (both 3pm) and Marlow on Tuesday 29th (7.30pm) with further games still to be arranged.
The Hellenic League kicks off with a full set of midweek fixtures week commencing 11th August.
